Back in 2018, my twin brother and I asked our parents for a meaningful Christmas gift — mowing equipment. With a push mower, a weedeater, and a handheld blower loaded into an old pickup, Lutgen Lawn Care was born. Our dad mentored us in those early days, driving us around Granbury as we balanced school, sports, and building our first small clientele.
What started as a side hustle quickly became a passion. That simple gift laid the foundation for a business built on hard work, reliability, and service to our community.

Today, Lutgen Lawn Care & Landscaping has grown into a full-service company serving homeowners and businesses across Granbury and Hood County. From mowing to large-scale landscaping, tree services, and irrigation, we’ve invested in top-quality equipment and built a strong, dedicated team.
Our crew now includes 7 full-time members, seasonal helpers, and the 2 Lutgen brothers— making this a true family business. With reliable service and clear communication, we’ve earned the trust of families, HOAs, and businesses throughout our community.
