Where It Started
Lutgen Lawn Care & Landscaping began in 2018 with two brothers, basic equipment, and a strong work ethic. Armed with a push mower, a weedeater, and a blower loaded into a pickup truck, we started mowing lawns while balancing school, sports, and our first customers.
Early on, our father played a key role in mentoring us — driving us around Granbury, teaching responsibility, and helping us build a foundation rooted in discipline and integrity. Those early experiences shaped the standards we still operate by today.
Growing Into a Reliable Mowing Company
As our customer base grew, so did our responsibility. We invested in better equipment, built efficient routes, and focused on what mattered most to homeowners and property managers: consistency, communication, and respect for the property.
This phase of growth wasn’t about scaling quickly — it was about earning trust. Lawn by lawn, we built a reputation for showing up on time, leaving properties clean, and standing behind our work.

Today, Lutgen Lawn Care & Landscaping is primarily a high-quality landscaping company focused on outdoor upgrades that elevate a property’s look and longevity. From landscape installations to property enhancements, our work is designed to feel clean, cohesive, and built to last.
We continue to maintain a select number of lawns for clients who value reliability and high standards, but landscaping is now the core of what we do. Every project is approached with the same mindset: make it look right — and make it last.
